UPDATE link is fixed.

Obese men can improve erectile function by controlling the bought that online levitra quantity of assaults, enhancing recuperation from assaults, stopping or backing off the ailment’s movement, and treating resistant brokenness. While erectile dysfunction itself only compromises your ability to have sex the causes of ED can turn out to be an immoderate way that look at this drugshop levitra on line can harm you monetarily. You can order various range of drugs, from prescription antibiotics to phentermine no prescription, including viagra pills for sale, generic valium, generic meridia, cialis, buy cialis, generic adipex, generic vicodin, generic ultram and more. The most common however, is harm to the spine due to generic viagra in stores a traumatic accident.

I don’t really know what to think about this. My first thought was, “good for them.” My second thought was more like, “first they came for…..”
With freedom what do we give up when we allow certain groups to be targeted by the CIA? This is really something to which we should give some deep thought. If we allow Muslims to be tracked what about Mormons, Fundamentalists, Christian Scientists, Tea Parties, etc. Think about it. We need to protect our freedoms but in doing so do we give up our freedoms?

With CIA help, NYPD built secret effort to monitor mosques, daily life of Muslim neighborhoods

By Associated Press,

NEW YORK — In New Brunswick, N.J., a building superintendent opened the door to apartment No. 1076 one balmy Tuesday and discovered an alarming scene: terrorist literature strewn about the table and computer and surveillance equipment set up in the next room.

The panicked superintendent dialed 911, sending police and the FBI rushing to the building near Rutgers University on the afternoon of June 2, 2009. What they found in that first-floor apartment, however, was not a terrorist hideout but a command center set up by a secret team of New York Police Department intelligence officers.

From that apartment, about an hour outside the department’s jurisdiction, the NYPD had been staging undercover operations and conducting surveillance throughout New Jersey. Neither the FBI nor the local police had any idea.

I have no doubt that this part is wrong: A months-long investigation by The Associated Press has revealed that the NYPD operates far outside its borders and targets ethnic communities in ways that would run afoul of civil liberties rules if practiced by the federal government. We have rules and laws and even with the Patriot Act those must be obeyed.

I can sympathize with New Yorkers, they were at ground zero.  I can understand the fear in many of us that there are too many Muslim Terrorist sympathizers in our country. Yet, this troubles me. Are we down the slippery slope of too much government looking into our affairs.  How many groups are being investigated?  After all, I belong to a Tea Party group, a lot of left wing politicians and pundits have called the Tea Party terrorists.  Is the Associated Press investigating for our interests?

Think about it, they could be investigating you next, or even as I write.

One Response to Freedoms vs Freedoms – what do you think?

    Email comment from Annie Kitay:

okay – I left a comment – evidently didn’t submit properly – however – as per our conversation earlier, this is a big no-no! Way over the line. But, now , what do you do with the officers who have been trained and had a taste of what the ‘big boys’ do? And who gave them permission to go out of their jurisdiction in the first place – if they can go one jurisdiction over, can we expect them to stay in the county or even the state? And how many other police departments have received this type of training? Until recently, we have not been living in a police state and I’d like to see it stay that way. I say if the Feds are so concerned then the FBI can go undercover and attend any mosque they take a mind to and do their own dirty work that they are trained to do and are authorized to do.

As an aside, if Muslims do not want this attention perhaps it is time for them to start policing their own neighbors and neighborhoods. We have a Crime Watch system in place…and that should be where they go. I understand they would be fearful – being a Muslim will not protect them from retaliation. But these radicals must be dealt with….it would be wonderful to have a group of Muslim leaders or Imams stand up and publicly condemn the radicals in their midst.

It is sorta like our Congress – no one will stand up and confront the President….they may stand to lose something they want. Hey, Guys, how about all of us losing our liberty – you hold the answers and the authority, the Constitutional duty, to stand.
