Pond Scum the new energy saviour

Algae in other words.  Algae around our house — it is growing on our long gravel driveway even as I write.  I’m really happy to see it because it means we have had some rain and high humidity.  But you know what?  I don’t think we are going to be making anything to run our car with it. Algae also grows in my bird baths, flower pots, the ponds I see, rivers, lakes, bays seas and anywhere that isn’t desert. I’m glad the president has an inkling about it, but I believe he called it “plant like material.”  I think I would just call it a plant, or to be exact plants.   Alan Caruba has a lot more to say about it.  He’s better at saying it than I am, read it.
