Now for the election news.  But first my opinion on the election results.

  1. I think there were some severe problems in certain areas. I will go as far as to call it fraud.
  2. I think there was a lot of Anti-Trumpism. I hope he will think again about becoming a nominee. He could never win again as president. However, I do think he won in 2020 and we have a fraudulent president.
  3. Abortion means a lot to many women and men and they assumed they knew what the Dobbs decision meant, but they are wrong. Many in interviews seemed to think a decree from Congress could make it legal anywhere. In a fascist country that might be true, but in a federal republic we have states rights.
  4. About the black and Hispanic vote. Maybe some blacks are conservatives, many have Democrat in their genes. Hispanics are not all the same. Hispanics in Florida are mostly Cubans, a very different experience and culture than the Hispanics on the border states.
  5. Some people will vote Democrat even if it is a yellow dog.

Now for the election headlines.

Will Lackluster Midterm Results Deter Trump 2024 Announcement? Lackluster is putting it mildly. I certainly hope it stops him from running.

Guess What’s Causing Delayed Results in Nevada?  I think we’ve all learned the delays are just to let the Democrats know how many votes they need to find.

The red wave that wasn’t: An election postmortem Andrea Widburg aka Bookworm is feeling like many  of us today.  “it’s still possible that Democrats will retain their majority in the House and gain a full majority in the Senate.  If that happens, the American experiment is over, and the Marxist experiment truly begins.”
