News has come at us fast and furious this summer.  By the time I post links I’m sure many of you have already had that news. Although I often see some of what I have saved to link days after on the Fox news shows my husband watches, so maybe there isn’t as much news as I think. FYI – the long dry spell of postings was not due to health reasons.  I’ve had family here since the second, and on top of that we were threatened with hurricane Beryl.  We are thankful we were not targeted but we did need a little of the rain.  And we are oh so sorry for those who did get all that wind and rain, we know it is devastating for so many.

I didn’t watch the so called debate, I hadn’t planned to, but as it happened my son, his wife, and friend came down for a couple of days and we were having too much fun to watch.  We did watch some of the post debate news on the liberal channels, just for the fun of it.

Bari Weiss and others think they knew.  I don’t think they did.  She is talking about the so called experts, journalists, and pundits, the newsreaders who are those former Democrat operatives who have been given plum jobs on the cable networks.  The videos I saw of the panels on CNN and MSNBC, showed a shocked and sickened group of true believers with egg on their faces, knowing they had swallowed the Biden koolaid and been lied to in a huge way. Of course, some of them did know, others really thought it was those debased Republicans telling lies about that nice old man. But of course, they did have to bash Trump.
